When does GTA 6 come out?
Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Rockstar set the date in November 2025 and has confirmed it in every announcement since.
What time does GTA 6 unlock?
Rockstar opened pre-orders and set pre-loading at midnight local time, and we expect launch to work the same way: midnight on November 19 wherever you are. That means players in New Zealand and Australia start first. We'll update this page if Rockstar announces different unlock times.
When can I pre-load GTA 6?
From November 12, 2026, if you pre-order a digital copy. Physical copies also go on sale on November 12 and contain a download code, so you can install early either way.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
In the US the standard edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99. Prices differ by country and store.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not yet. Rockstar has only announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 also launched on consoles first and reached PC later.
Can I play GTA 6 on PS4 or Xbox One?
No. GTA 6 is only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Does GTA 6 have online multiplayer?
Rockstar describes GTA 6 as a single player experience. It hasn't announced an online mode for launch.
How big is the GTA 6 download?
Rockstar hasn't announced it. Numbers you see online are guesses; we'll add the official size here as soon as it's published, usually in the weeks before launch.
Is GTA 6 delayed to 2027?
No. The date is still November 19, 2026. GTA 6 has been delayed twice before: first from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026, then to November 19, 2026. Rockstar said both delays were to finish the game to the standard players expect.
