Leonida, the GTA 6 state
Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida. Rockstar has named six regions so far, from the neon streets of Vice City to the swamps of Grassrivers and the forests of Mount Kalaga. Each postcard below opens our guide to that region, with official screenshots, the real places that inspired it and every trailer shot filmed there.
Like the real Florida, Leonida has wild weather. Rockstar told Game Informer the state gets dynamic wind, tropical storms and full hurricanes, with rain pouring off rooftops and lightning lighting up the clouds. More than 170 animal species live here too, from the alligators of Grassrivers to the wildlife out on Mount Kalaga.
